Happy Halloween!
Today's the day and it seems I'm ready. I have my little treat bags ready to go. Last night Autumn and I carved a pumpkin. She has a costume ready to go. Batteries are fully charged for the digital camera.
But whether Autumn will wear her costume tonight is another issue entirely. When we put her little penguin outfit on for ZooBoo, she threw a tantrum in the parking lot. I didn't think the costume was going to go on. But once it was on and we started moving, all was OK. Yesterday morning they had a parade at "school." Apparently, she fussed at first, but then was fine with her costume. However when she came here to the Erie Times-News for employee family trick-or-treating in the afternoon, she wanted nothing to do with the costume. It didn't really make it past the first stop. I wasn't about to have her screaming and crying around the building because I wanted her in this cute costume.
Now we'll see what happens tonight. If she's OK with the costume (which might be the case if we go outside), then we'll take her trick-or-treating. If she fusses too much, we'll just stay home again this year. I'm not taking her trick-or-treating for the candy. If I take her, it will be so I can show her cute self off to everyone in the neighborhood :)
