I have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Not that there's ever been one that I can think how miserable my life has been, but that's beside the point.
Right now, I'm with the majority of my family. All of us are together except one sister and her two children, and one niece who's currently in Florida. We'll get to see her next week.
My bout of sickness (most likely food poisoning, according to the doctor) is over. My Dad is here and walking around as good as he did before the surgery. My family welcomes Keith's parents to join us for the holiday and everyone has a grand old time together and gets along great.
We've had great food, great conversation, good company and, now, the celebration of my sister's birthday. My daughter is healthy, running around and giving hugs and kisses to her grandparents and aunts and uncles. And for the first time today, I saw her do a little somersault.
Life is good. And today's all about being thankful for that.
