Get to the beach

Bored without Lost? Why don't you hit up a real beach -- without polar bears and whatnot.

But first, be sure to read some recent news about the peninsula.

"Lost" gets Emmy nod

Here's one for the geeks for Hollywood politics -- Mission accomplished: 'Lost' finds its way home, but now has Emmy wandered off base?

Los Angeles Times blogger Tom O'Neil explains Lost's emmy nomination announced earlier this week, and explains -- in a way -- the reason that the show had been snubbed the last two years. Ah, the complicated world of award voting procedure.

For more coverage of Lost's emmy nod -- and the other, lesser nominees -- click here.

MMMMMM Alternate Reality Fun...

Hey LOST Fans...its been a while since either of us have actually posted on here seeing as how the season is over until...February...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

But we'll survive, like almost every other season break, with a little help from the people of LOST. During the season finale of Season 4, they showed a commercial for Octagon Global Recruiting which told people to make it out to San Diego on July 24-27. That just so happened to be Comic-Con where they started the new LOST ARG (Alternate Reality Game) with a full "LOST" and an actual recruitment station set up for DHARMA..

This is the third game of its kind put out by LOST. The Lost Experience was one, Find 815 was two, and now its the Dharma Initiative Recruiting Project.

If you are interested in checking this ARG installment out, go HERE and sign up and follow along until season 5 starts.

I've had the opportunity to follow all of the games thus far and they are a blast and you get some really cool insight. Try it out, post what you think or what you find, and I'll try and do the same.

Have fun, and see you in another life, Brotha.
