Giants at Browns: Halftime update

What happened: Each team scored two touchdowns and the Browns took a 17-14 lead into halftime.

Browns notes: Derek Anderson has thrown for 225 yards and a touchdown in the first half. ... Braylon Edwards has three catches for 129 yards. ... The Browns scored on a four-yard touchdown run by Jamal Lewis on a belly play and when Darnell Dinkins split the Giants' safeties on a 22-yard touchdown reception.

Giants notes: The Giants took a 7-3 lead on Brandon Jacobs' 7-yard run early in the quarter. Jacobs ran over Mike Adams at the goal line. ... New York's second touchdown was helped by an illegal contact call against the Browns, negating a sack of Eli Manning on third-and-10 from the Cleveland 21. ... The Giants' second TD of the half came when Manning lofted a 3-yard fade pass to Plaxico Burress, who made the catch over Terry Cousins.
