Giants at Browns: Third quarter update

What happened: The Browns extended their lead to 20-14 on Phil Dawson's 26-yard field goal, set up by a 33-yard double reverse run by Jerome Harrison. ... The Browns were on the move when the quarter ended on an 18-yard pass from Derek Anderson to Jerome Harrison.

Browns notes: Harrison's run was a career long. ... Anderson had 299 passing yards at the end of the quarter. His protection has been excellent. ... Penalties continue to plague the Browns. They were flagged five times on the drive that ended the third quarter. ... Alex Hall sacked Eli Manning to force a punt.

Giants notes: Manning threw his second interception when his deep pass intended for Plaxico Burress was long on the first play of the third quarter. Browns CB Brandon McDonald intercepted it and returned it 21 yards.
