Cowboys 13, Steelers 3
What happened: Tony Romo's 12-yard TD pass to Terrell Owens gives the Cowboys a 10-3 lead at 9:36. ... Nick Folk kicks a 33-yard field goal at 3:32 to stretch it to 13-3.
Notes:
-- Steelers had scored on their first possession of the third quarter in six of the previous 12 games, but went three-and-out today.
-- CB Orlando Scandrick came untouched from exposed right side of the offensive line to sack Ben Roethlisberger for a nine-yard loss.
-- This is another one of those games where James Harrison seems to be in the middle of every big hit.
-- Cowboys RB Tashard Choice hit a seam for the first time for a 22-yard gain on third-and-3 from the Dallas 40.
-- Tony Romo looked cold and uncomfortable in the first half but looks better now. Someone must have bought him a hot cocoa at halftime.
-- At 7:41, DeMarcus Ware sacked Roethlisberger to re-take the league sack lead from James Harrison with 16.
-- They're booing Mitch Berger at 6:20, whose third punt clunked out of bounds at the Dallas 28 after covering a mere 30 yards.
-- Romo is rolling now. He made a nice dump-off pass to Choice to beat the blitz for what became a 50-yard gain, then threw the ball away left-handed on first-and-goal from the Steelers 10 to avoid a sack.
-- It sure looked like Choice might have stepped out of bounds around the Steelers 35-yard-line on his long gain.
-- Steelers had outscored opponents 77-9 in the third quarter this season but were outscored 10-0 by the Cowboys today.
-- Ben Roethlisberger's 47-yard completion to Santonio Holmes at 2:14 came in single coverage against Terence Newman.
-- John Dudley

And another win for the Black and Gold. I like your updates and your unbiased view of the game John. Nice work.
