Spruce up your community

Save Our Native Species of Lake Erie does a magnificent job standing in for the public when it comes to bayfront, Presque Isle Bay and Lake Erie issues.

But S.O.N.S. can't do everything alone, and the organization would be glad for your help on April 5.

The annual spring clean-up at Cascade Creek runs from 10 a.m. to noon. It's a chance to tidy up Cascade Creek in time for trout opening day April 12. In the bigger picture, you can help make the Erie environment a bit cleaner.

Meet at Frontier Park, or call Ed Kissell for information at (814) 453-2270 or (814) 455-0355.
