Hill resigns from Game Commission board

H. Daniel Hill III, of Erie, has resigned from the Pennsylvania Game Commission Board of Commissioners to focus on a new position as senior policy advisor and counselor for Congresswoman-elect Kathy Dahlkemper.

Hill is Of Counsel to the Erie law firm of McCarthy, Martone & Peasley. He was nominated by Gov. Edward Rendell to fill out a vacant term in June 2005. Hill was re-nominated by Gov. Rendell to a full eight-year term and confirmed by the Senate in October 2006.

As a member of the Game Commission board, Hill represented District 1, which is comprised of Erie, Crawford, Mercer, Lawrence, Venango, Butler, Warren, Forest and Clarion counties.
