Be cautious on Presque Isle Bay

The U.S. Coast Guard is urging ice anglers to use caution after an ice cutter cleared the channel for two ships to enter Presque Isle Bay on Sunday.

The channel was cleared of ice, and the ice table along at least the east side of the bay was disturbed. There could be unseen fracture lines or weak ice anywhere in the bay.
