Otters designate Rogers for assignment

The Erie Otters have designated overage winger Ronny Rogers, 20 for reassignment, the club announced Monday. Rogers was the lone overager on the roster. He had three goals, seven points and 44 penalty minutes in 23 games this season. Rogers set career highs with 18 goals, 41 points and 97 penalty minutes in 65 games last season. He has 22 goals, 50 points and 145 penalty minutes in 91 games since joining the club late in the 2005-06 season.
