15:11 -- The Otters earned a chance to slice into London's three-goal lead, as Matt Clarke's roughing penalty against Brandon Biggers led to Erie's seventh power play. The Otters are 0-for-6 to this point.
13:11 -- Make that 0-for-7.
11:28 -- Make that 1-for-8, as defenseman Tyler Hostetter's slap shot from the point beat goaltender Trevor Cann to move the Otters with 5-3. Better yet, the Otters returned to the power play with 10:05 left. That turned into a two-man advantage with 8:35, when Matt Clarke's clearing attempt sailed into the crowd for a delay of game penalty.
7:28 -- That is, until another Torquato mistake led to Nazem Kadri's short-handed goal for a 6-3 Knights' lead. Torquato misplayed the puck in the Knights' zone, leading to Kadri's break-in.
The Otters finished the night 1-for-12 on the power play and with four special-teams goals against - two apiece on the power play and short-handed.
