TRADE NEWS: Bulls acquire Pither from Guelph

Former Erie Otter Nick Palmieri has more offensive help in Belleville.
The Bulls acquired center Luke Pither from Guelph for a second-round pick in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection, according to the Bulls' Web site. Pither has a career-high 16 goals and 30 points in 41 games last season. He has 44 goals and 114 points in 217 games during his four-year career. He will join a Bulls' offense that includes Palmieri (eight goals, 14 points in 16 games since Nov. 21 trade), Bryan Cameron (27-22-49), Eric Tangradi (21-28-49), P.K. Subban (4-33-37) and Brandon Mashinter (five goals in five games since Dec. 16).
The OHL trade deadline arrives at noon Friday.
