TRADE NEWS: Tavares deal done

The long-awaited John Tavares trade is done.
London has acquired the high-scoring center, highly skilled defenseman Michael Del Zotto and goaltender Darryl Borden from Oshawa, the OHL announced today. In exchange, the Generals received right wing Christian Thomas, defenseman Scott Valentine, goaltender Michael Zador and six draft picks - second-rounders in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 and third-rounders in 2010 and 2011.
