UPDATE: McKegg, Ontario face West in U-17 semis

Erie Otters forward Greg McKegg and Team Ontario are 15 minutes away from their scheduled face-off against the West in the opening semifinal of the 2009 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
The game begins at 6 p.m. EST in Port Alberni, British Columbia. McKegg had one point and two penalty minutes in Ontario's 4-0 run through preliminary round play, capped by a 6-3 win against Pacific late Friday night. The United States was the only other 4-0 team. The U.S. and Pacific meet in the other semifinal at 10 p.m. EST. The two winners meet in the gold-medal game on Sunday at 8 p.m. EST.
