UPDATE: Otters' Janus named to WJC all-star team

Erie Otters goaltender Jaroslav Janus was named to the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship all-star team, as selected by media members. The selections, headlined by Oshawa forward John Tavares' most valuable player award, were announced on TSN's broadcast following Canada's gold-medal win against Sweden tonight at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Ontario. However, Sweden's Jacob Markstrom beat out Janus for the tournament's top goaltender honor.
