UPDATE: Tavares could remain in Oshawa

Oshawa center John Tavares, the hottest topic of OHL trade talks, might not be traded after all.
"From what I understand, there's as good a chance of him staying (in Oshawa) as there is (of him) going," Sherry Bassin, Erie Otters managing partner/general manager, said today.
Bassin declined to comment further. But according to The Toronto Star, Oshawa general manager Chris DiPiero said Tuesday that he had not received any adequate offers. Without the right offer, DiPiero reportedly said, Tavares would finish the season with the Generals. London and Windsor reportedly have been linked to a Tavares deal.
