The inaugural Her Times 5K went off without a hitch. Well, unless you count rain, thunder, sleet and snow as a hitch. Ah...but we women are a tough breed (as are all the good men who came out to help me pull this off!) and 267 women finished the race -- with the top three finishers being women over 45! You go girls!
Congratulations to every one of you who finished. You are all amazing women and I hope that you are proud of yourselves (you absolutely should be!).
There were a few problems with results (some mis-keying on my part) that affected one of the age groups -- 55 to 59. Marilyn LoSapio was listed in the wrong age group and actually took 2nd in the 55 to 59 category. A few other minor problems were also called to my attention and corrected (none of the other changes affected the awards).
I have awards for the top three women in the following RUN categories -- 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70 & 70+
I have awards for the top five OVERALL walkers.
If you are among these winners, please contact me to make arrangements to pick up your award.
I am planning to have awards printed for the 15 and under group and should have those available by Tuesday.
There were a lot of volunteers -- and more than a few good men -- who helped me pull this gig off: Thank you to: ETN volunteers -- Sheila Coon and Liz Swantek; SafeNet Volunteers -- Dennis Weber, Anne Dunlap, Rick Liebel, Linda King, Linda Martz; ERC members -- Dave and Jan Comi, Joan and Frank Mainzer, Jean Stevens, Natalie Laniewicz, Carol Sassman, Sarah Rose, Rick Godzwa, Dan & Patricia Albaugh, Clarence Mason, Ron Krystek, Joe Bruce, Larry Kisielewski (DJ Kelly), Diane O'Brien, Phoebe Clemente, Julie Koehler, Mary Kaye Padzer, Dan Cass (my dear husband), and my Knight in a blue ERC coat who wishes to remain anonymous, but...he knows who he is.
Here, then, is the final, correct version of results (thank you Rick !):
