When you're just getting started in a sport, it's hard to learn the lingo. Running and walking, like any sport, has it's own special language and local phrases. Each week, I'll define a term or phrase that will help you not only walk the walk (or run the run), but talk the talk.
This week's term: Camelbak
When a runners refers to a Camelbak they are not talking about a runner with a hump (or two), they're talking about a water hydration system that is basically a backpack with water in it and a tube you suck the water out of.

They look something like this (above), though runners usually opt for plain old black or blue rather than camo. They are available in LOTS of sizes, shapes and fabrics and are used by runners who are going on really long runs. You see them a lot at marathons. They're also very popular with competitive bikers (probably more so than runners).
You can learn more about them at the Camelbak Web site.
