Run around Heinz Field

I received an application yesterday for the Steelers 20th Annual 5K Run to be held Mon., Sept. 1 (Labor Day) at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.

We're not going this year -- gas is $4 a gallon and I'm still smarting from the $200 speeding ticket we got while going to the race last year AND...it's the day we're doing Boone's Regatta (our annual canoe trip with friends down the Allegheny).

This is the best info. I can find about the race online (they really need to do a better job of promoting this race).

OH....what they don't tell you is that they raffle off all kinds of cool Steelers stuff after the race -- from autographed photos and gear to footballs and..yes..even tickets to upcoming games. You must be present to win...so be sure to bring a change of clothes to hang around after the race.
