I didn't race Saturday, but I understand it was an icy run at Presque Isle.

Next race on the radar? The ERC's New Year's Day Five-Miler on ...you guessed it... New Year's Day -- Jan. 1, 2009. Race starts at 10 a.m. at the Rotary Pavilion at Presque Isle State Park. Info here.

The New Year's Day race is a great way to start the new year off right and....it's the 2nd in the 3 races of the ERC Winter Series. Do all three (the Turkey Trot, the New Year's Day Race and the St. Patrick's Day race) and you get a cool prize!
