Results for the ERC's Turkey Trot 5K & 10K can be found here.
It was a record-breaking crowd -- 2,165 registered. 1,932 finishers!
ERC timing guy Jim Lang posted a breakdown of the numbers at the ERC's Google Discussion Group.
All in all...we couldn't have asked for Trot better weather. Clear, ice-free streets are as good as it gets in November in Erie.
I had a good race -- 20 seconds from a P.R. But, I'm noticing that the older I get the harder it is to recover from a race. I used to be able to get up and run the very next day. Now...I took Friday off and struggled through 7 miles on Saturday. I took Sunday off and still had a pretty lousy run this AM.
It's hell getting old.

Heather-
Where are you running now that we have the lovely white stuff outside? I ran once on the streets a week ago when the roads where clear, and the Turkey Trot was fine too. Is the Peninsula a good choice? I just don't always want to drive over there.
Thanks for your blogs. I enjoy reading them.
