There are days ...

robeng.jpg

... when I don't want to run.

... when the LAST thing I want to do is get out of my warm, cozy bed and go out into the 25-degree weather.

... when I am just too damn tired.

... when all I want is another 10 minutes.

... when I'm bored with my usual route and every freakin' song in my iPod.

... when I'm sick of running alone.

... when I linger around, waiting until the last possible minute to head out.

... when I desperately wish I were naturally thin (and sort of hate those who are).

... when it takes every single ounce of motivation in my body to get out and run.

Today was one of those days. Yet, I went.

And, it's never as bad as it seems. Most of the time it ends up being pretty enjoyable -- even in the snow and cold.

But, it's just not easy to be a runner in NW PA in the winter.

There are days ...
