Rowan poised to earn No. 2 tailback spot

Mercyhurst Prep graduate Dywon Rowan, a fifth-year senior at Wisconsin, appears close to locking up the Badgers' No. 2 tailback spot, according to this Milwaukee Journal Sentinel story. Rowan's older brother, Levonne, an undrafted rookie free agent cornerback, was released by the Philadelphia Eagles late last month. -- John Dudley
