I'd like to give you a Women's World Cup preview.
But I don't know anything about any of the teams. I don't even know the U.S. very well.
I do know that the U.S. is ranked No. 1 in the world, and this is a great chance to reclaim the Women's Cup.
The U.S. begins play 5 a.m. today against North Korea (ESPN2, replay at 7 p.m.), a formidable side which few know much about. Especially me.
Germany made a rousing start to the tournament with an 11-0 rout of Argentina on Monday.
It is going to be difficult to follow this World Cup since few media are traveling to China to cover it.
Washington Post writer Steven Goff is there.
Here's The Associated Press' preview on U.S.-North Korea.
ESPN's soccernet.com also will offer updated coverage, especially since ESPN is televising all of the matches.
Here's a Women's World Cup TV schedule. All of the U.S. matches and the final will be shown live, and then replayed later that day.
