OHL hires new officiating director

The OHL has hired former NHL official Conrad Hache as the league’s new Director of Officiating, the OHL announced Wednesday. Hache’s career includes being an OHL official from 1991-94 and eight years in the NHL. The Sudbury, Ontario, native also has served as an AHL and NCAA referee. He will lead the OHL’s 85 officials, as well as expand the league’s development program for current and future officials.
