Elise Dauber, a junior forward from McDowell, was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association/adidas Mid-Atlantic Region third team for Delaware Valley College.
Dauber is the second player in the 14-year history of the Aggie women's soccer program to earn all-region honors.
Dauber, the Freedom Conference player of the year, led the team and the conference in goals (16), game-winning goals (four) and points (39). She also led Delaware Valley and was tied for second in the league in assists with seven.
Dauber is 17 points shy of becoming the third player in school history to score 100 career points.
-- Corry's Tyler Sekerak and Fairview's Zane Meeder each had a hand in Baldwin-Wallace's 3-5 start to the college basketball season.
Sekerak, a 6-foot senior guard, is a third-year starter. He's averaging 10.6 points and 3.8 rebounds, and is shooting 55.9 percent from the field. He leads the Ohio Athletic Conference with 25 steals.
Meeder, a reserve guard, is averaging 2.3 points.
The Yellow Jackets are off until Dec. 28 when they play Aurora (Ill.) in the first round of the Franklin College Tournament in Franklin, Ind. Listen to the game at www.wbwc.com.
-- Senior guard Tony DeMichele averaged 1.7 points and 3.3 rebounds through John Carroll's first seven men's basketball games.
DeMichele, a Cathedral Prep graduate, started three games and averaged 28.1 minutes of playing time. He was second on the Blue Streaks with 15 assists.
-- Thiel's Rob Miller, a freshman from Reynolds, has been named Presidents' Athletic Conference wrestler of the week twice this season.
Miller went 3-0 for Thiel Dec. 2-8, winning twice by fall, to notch his second straight conference honor. He's 16-2 this season.
Thiel is back in action Jan. 11 at Lycoming's Budd Whitehill Duals.
-- Mario Henry was the second-leading rusher this past season for the Buffalo football team.
Henry, a redshirt sophomore running back from Strong Vincent, had 76 carries for 345 yards and one touchdown. He also threw for a touchdown, and caught 15 passes for 75 yards.
Ben Woods, a senior from Hickory, averaged 41.7 yards on 71 punts for the Bulls (5-7).
-- East graduate Andre Dawson had 17 tackles and two interceptions for the Colgate football team this past season.
Dawson, a senior free safety, played in seven games. The Raiders went 7-4-0.
-- T.J. Taylor had 16 tackles and an interception for New Hampshire's football team.
Taylor, a sophomore defensive lineman from Fairview, helped the Wildcats finish 7-5.
-- Ohio University's football team went 6-6 with help from McDowell graduate Jayson White.
White, a bruising junior fullback, had four carries for 11 yards and two receptions for 13 yards. He played in 12 games.
-- Harbor Creek graduate Stephen Blose averaged 59.9 yards on kickoffs for Youngstown State this past season.
Blose, a sophomore, also kicked one field goal for the Penguins (7-4).
