Quad ski race postponed to Jan. 20

Sunday's 25th annual Highmark Quad Games cross-country ski race has been postponed because of poor conditions at the Peek'n Peak Resort and Conference Center's Upper Golf Course. The final leg of the Quad's silver anniversary season was rescheduled for Sunday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m.

The event had already been postponed once, from Jan. 6 to Jan. 13, because of poor weather.

Todd Shatynski (1 hour, 24 minutes, 23 seconds) and Nancy Herbst (1:39.31) are the overall leaders going into the Quad's final event.

Shatynski, the men's defending champion, leads Dan Pierce by two seconds. Herbst, a 10-time Quad titlist, leads Nicolina Pierce by more than two minutes.
