Gannon baseball season opener postponed

The Gannon baseball team’s season opener scheduled for Feb. 23 at Alderson-Broaddus (W.Va.) has been postponed because of poor weather and field conditions. The non-conference doubleheader has been rescheduled for March 27 in Philippi, W.Va.

Gannon now is scheduled to open its season March 1 at the Gene Cusic Tournament in Fort Myers, Fla. The Golden Knights will face Hillsdale at 10 a.m. and Lewis (Ill.) at 3 p.m.
