Cavs-Celtics Game 6 Halftime

What the hell just happened?
The Cavaliers were down six points, 31-25, late in the first half and the Cavaliers went on a 17-2 run to take a 42-33 lead at the half.
This is crazy.
Naugh, I take that back.
This is how one teams plays in the Celtics that’s not sure how to put a team away on the road. Boston could have really put the game away, but since they didn’t, the Celtics are going to likely wind up traveling back to Boston needing to win Game 7 to advance.
How does a team shoot 32.4 percent from the field like the Cavaliers did in the first half and still have a nine-point lead? Now it should haven been just a six-point lead, but Delonte West hit that 3-pointer at the buzzer, but still, it’s so unexplainable.
The irony of this is that before the game, LeBron James said teams have to close the quarters strong to win on the road.
Guess that can work at home, too, in favor of the home team. Looking back at Game 5, Boston closed the first half on a run and wound up winning the game.
The tables have turned now.
So that right there was for the basketball junkies.
Here’s something for everyone else.
First off, Run of the legendary group Run DMC is in the building. Back in the day, my brother and I used to debate on who was better. I loved Run, my brother loved DMC.
Sorry brother, but Run is still No. 1. With him being here, this is Run’s House. Not LeBron’s house.
Well, maybe not.
Anyway, he’s kicking it with Kid Rock. You know they boys and if anyone watches the reality show, “Run’s House,” they saw Kid Rock not only buy Run’s son, Russy, a guitar, but he put a Hooter’s sticker on Run’s Benz or BMW or some kind of expensive vehicle I can’t afford.
Hey, I thought Kid Rock was a Detroit Pistons fan. He’s always at their games. Now no one booed him because he was with my man, Run. Kid Rock is performing in Cleveland on Saturday and most likely, Run is one of he special guests.
So in the last two games, I saw Michael Bivins from New Edition and Run from Run DMC. Cool.
Another noticeable person to Cleveland fans in the arena is former Cavalier Shannon Brown. I’m sticking to what I said about the guy when he was drafted. He will become a star in the league.
Well, maybe not, but I like his game.
Now back to this game.
Some fans have been shouting at Cleveland coach Mike Brown quite a bit about his substitution pattern, his coaching and everything in between. My thing is, fans want offense, but defense wins championships and Brown knows that.
It’s why they made it to the NBA Finals last year and if they’re going to advance, that’s how they’ll do so.
OK, back to the game.
See you at the buzzer.
