PSAC basketball roundup

A look at Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference basketball news:

-- Slippery Rock junior Sandra Busser has different concerns than her scoring average.

-- California (Pa.), the 2007-08 East Region champ, started slow but has won five straight after Saturday's victory over Lock Haven.

-- Edinboro's Joe Jones led the conference in scoring heading into this weekend's games.

-- Edinboro also has two of the top five women's scorers, Samantha Reimer and Kelsey Conklin.

-- It'll be a busy night Wednesday in Erie, when Gannon plays host to Slippery Rock in a men's/women's doubleheader, and Edinboro invites the Mercyhurst College men and women to McComb Fieldhouse.

-- The Indiana (Pa.) men have won 11 straight games including Saturday's 59-48 victory over Mercyhurst.
