Contenders in Class A and Class AA fight for the final District 10 girls basketball playoff spots tonight on the last day of full region scheduling.
Two Class A spots and one Class AA spot remain for the playoffs that begin next week. Classes AAA and AAAA already are filled, though one-loss AAA teams General McLane and Mercyhurst Prep each are fighting for the Region 6 title.
At East High School, McDowell and Cathedral Prep renew the district's fiercest swimming rivalry at 6 p.m. Look for coverage and photos in Friday's Erie Times-News and on GoErie.com.
