VIEWER QUESTION: WHEN DO THE LEAVES TYPICALLY SHOW THE MOST COLOR?

I have noticed that some leaves are already starting to change!!! Hopefully this is not a trend, though. When it comes to "peak color", this usually starts in October.

Here is when the "peak color" began over the last several years:

2007: Oct. 24
2006: Oct. 14
2005: Oct. 15
2004: Oct. 13
2003: Oct. 15
2002: Oct. 19
2001: Oct. 10
2000: Oct. 11
1999: Oct. 13

These dates are from foliagenetwork.com.
