Defending PIAA wrestling champ Martellotti loses

HERSHEY -- Shady Side Academy's Frank Martellotti became the first returning PIAA champion to lose Thursday at Giant Center, dropping a 4-3 decision to Boiling Springs' Joe Spisak in the 112-pound preliminary round.

Martellotti, last year's 103-pound champ, rebounded with a 4-2 win over Reynolds' Adam Matthews to remain alive for a medal.
