Seneca rallies for Region 3 baseball win

The Seneca baseball team earned its first Region 3 victory in dramatic fashion Tuesday.
Andy Cole's sacrifice-bunt attempt led to an error and two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Bobcats beat visiting Youngsville 9-8.
Aaron Zaksheske led Seneca (2-6 overall, 1-2 Region 3) with two hits, including a double, and three RBIs. Ben Smith had two hits, including a double, and a RBI, while Sam Hubbard had two hits and two runs scored.
Ben Oviatt led Youngsville (0-6, 0-3) with a single, double and three RBIs. Adam Paden added a home run and two RBIs.
