Goda goes into D-10 AA semifinals

Greenville's Brian Goda rounded out an unlikely list of Class AA semifinalists at Saturday's District 10 boys singles tennis tournament. The unseeded Trojan knocked out the sixth seed of the day when he survived a 9-7 final over fourth seed Dan Mulligan of General McLane.

The AA semifinals at the Pennbriar Athletic Club didn't start until after 6:30 p.m. Goda played eighth seed Jonathan Knoll of Fairview, while the Tigers' Jake Batchelor took on fifth seed Matt Kiser of Grove City.
