The Ramblers reached the McDowell 30 before their drive fizzled. Raymond Blanks' 47-yard field goal attempt was on line but short. Blanks boomed the opening kickoff into the end zone.
Prep ran a nicely designed counter pitch for a 14-yard gain by Sean Meadows, but McDowell allowed only two yards on two runs and a third-down pass fell incomplete.
