The Pennsylvania Football News shuffled the teams in its latest Class AAA poll. The team at the top wasn't one of them.
That team was Strong Vincent. The 2-0 Colonels maintained first thanks to their 61-6 rout of Central Tech last Friday at Veterans Stadium.
Defending state champion Thomas Jefferson, which beat Vincent in the 2007 PIAA semifinals, moved into second place. Berwick was third, followed by Wilson and West Scranton.
Cathedral Prep (1-1) received an honorable mention. Vincent (second) and Prep (fifth) were in the top 10 of the Harrisburg Patriot-News' AAA poll.
Wilmington (2-0) was the only other district team with a state ranking. The Greyhounds moved into seventh place in the Patriot-News' Class AA poll.
