Girard's Dunn says surgery not done deal

Girard quarterback Pat Dunn will be out indefinitely after tearing the ACL and MCL in his right knee during Friday's game against Corry. The senior was injured during his interception return shortly before halftime of the YellowJackets' 19-10 victory at Battles Memorial Field.

Despite the injury, Dunn reported Sunday that he'd attempt to bypass surgery and try to return to the 'Jackets in time for the end of the season. Coach Mina George said Justin Zadorozny, who took over for Dunn in the second half against Corry, will likely remain Girard's quarterback.

The 'Jackets are 3-0 overall going into Friday's Region 4 game at 1-2 Seneca.
