Area boys teams Cathedral Prep and McDowell will compete along with Pennsylvania runner-up Wilson, and teams from Greenwich, Conn., and Milford, Ohio.

“This tournament features some great teams from the nNorteast,” McDowell coach Dave Schultz said. “It will be a great weekend of water polo with a high level of competition.”

In girls competition, McDowell, Fairview and Wilson will play each other several times.

Action gets under way today with the McDowell and Fairview girls playing at 5 p.m.
Tournament play will continue Saturday at 8 a.m. through most of the day, with the championship being played at 9 p.m.
