McDowell vs. the WPIAL

The McDowell football team is not a member of the WPIAL, but the Trojans do play an exhibition schedule that includes eight games against WPIAL teams.

McDowell, which will host McKeesport on Friday night, will play every team from the WPIAL's Foothills Conference. McDowell is not included in the conference's official standings. However, if the Trojans were included, this is how the standings would look through Week 3: (Conference record is listed first, followed by overall record)

Gateway 1-0 3-0
McDowell 1-0 2-1
McKeesport 1-0 2-1
Penn-Trafford 1-0 1-2
Hempfield 0-1 1-2
Latrobe 0-1 1-2
Norwin 0-1 1-2
Connellsville 0-1 0-3

Note: So far this season, McDowell is 1-1 against the WPIAL. The Trojans lost to Seneca Valley 38-33 and beat Norwin 49-13.
