'Pickers pick up where they left off at Hershey

Dylan Klein is no stranger to Hershey. The North East senior was there last fall when the Grapepickers won the PIAA Class AA boys cross country team title.

Klein was back in Chocolatetown on Saturday for the Hershey Invitational and PIAA Foundation 5K races. His results suggested he has another trip scheduled there on his November itinerary.

Klein finished second overall in the Hershey 5K with a time of 16 minutes, 58 seconds. He led North East to the team title with 74 points.

North East won the PIAA 5K with that same point total. Klein crossed the finish line second to Tulpehocken’s Tyler Riegel, who broke the tape in 17:42.

The ‘Pickers are back in action Tuesday, when they host Corry and Union City in a Region 4 tri-meet.
