Ramblers on course for new golf coach

Ron Coleman officially resigned as coach of Cathedral Prep’s golf team Thursday. Coleman's abrupt departure ended his second stint with the Ramblers after previously leading the team from 1997 to 2003.

Prep athletic director Bill Flanagan announced an interim coach will be appointed Monday. Flanagan was on hand for the Ramblers’ appearance in Thursday’s Corry Invitational at North Hills Golf Course.

Coleman’s second term at Prep began in 2006. Last year, he was at Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York when Gregor Orlando won the PIAA individual championship.
