Seneca's King gets Wish

Former Seneca football player Jackson King attended Sunday's New England Patriots-Indianapolis Colts game as a guest of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

King is confined to a wheelchair after suffering brain damage in an automobile accident.

The entire King family, including Jackson's mother, father, brother and two sisters, drove to Indianapolis in a motor home supplied by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The foundation also paid for a hotel stay and tickets to the game.

Before the weekend, the King family had never had a vacation or attended an NFL game.

The Colts are Jackson King's favorite team and Erie native Bob Sanders is his favorite player. King met with Sanders at Sanders' football camp at Gannon University this past summer.

The Colts won Sunday's game 18-15, and Sanders had eight tackles and an interception.
