Computers make possible all of the production work that goes into Varsity each week.

Occasionally, computers also will be behind a problem we run into while producing Varsity.

That was the case this week, when a computer problem forced us to publish Varsity without the athletes and team of the week for Crawford County.

Readers throughout District 10 might not be aware that at least one page of Varsity and often many more will be zoned each week. Erie County readers get one version, Crawford County readers another, allowing the Times-News to serve distinct groups with a single Varsity section.
