A veteran lineup has Corry wrestling fans anticipating a big season.
The Beavers will get an early indication of how big at this weekend's KSA Events Classic Wrestling Tournament. The three-day event starts today at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida.
Corry, coached by Skip Laird, is one of nine teams involved. Today's schedule has the Beavers up against Scarsdale, N.Y., at 9:15 a.m.; South County Secondary of Virginia at 10:45; and Sachem North, N.Y., at 12:30 p.m.
On Friday, Corry challenges Omak High School from Washington state at 10:45 a.m. and New Jersey's St. Augustine Prep at 12:30 p.m. The Beavers conclude Saturday with Grapevine, Texas, at 9 a.m.; Wisconsin's Bloomer High School at 10:45 and Miami (Fla.) Senior High at 12:30 p.m.
Corry began the dual portion of its schedule with victories over Warren (68-4) and Meadville (36-26).
