Olowinski joins 1,000-point club

Mercyhurst Prep senior Kirsten Olowinski reached the 1,000-point plateau in a 63-51 loss to Butler in the championship of the Butler Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday.

The Miami, Ohio-bound forward needed just five points to reach the milestone after scoring 13 points the night before.

Olowinski joins Girard's Raegan Moore and Kennedy Catholic's Kyle Randall as notable 1,000-point scorers currently in their senior seasons.
