Austin Gillihan, Kevin Kerr, Jake Kondrlik and Michael Pollard are a foursome that will try to help the Corry wrestling team defend its Corry Pool Tournament title. The Beavers, who beat Eisenhower by 77 points for the 2008 championship, welcome seven teams to their gymnasium for Saturday's event.
First-round matches will start at 9 a.m. Other schools scheduled to participate are Cambridge Springs, Central Tech, Eisenhower, Girard, Iroquois, Keystone and Seneca.
Gillihan, Kerr, Kondrlik and Pollard are returning titlists for Corry, which carries a 9-1 dual record into the 2009 portion of its schedule. Eisenhower's Jeff Parker and David Osborne, plus Seneca's Nate Smith, are the tournament's other returning winners from District 10.
Saturday's meet is a prelude to the district's biggest event, next weekend's Tool City Tournament at Meadville.
