PFN makes amends for Fenton faux pas

McDowell’s A.J. Fenton didn't have to don pads in order to move up the Pennsylvania Football News depth chart.

Fenton, listed as a third-team linebacker when the publication released its 2008 Class AAAA all-state team last weekend, is now among its first-teamers. PFN official Rich Vetock said in an e-mail release Tuesday night that the senior was inadvertently typed in the wrong column of its database.

Adam Lazenga of of Bethel Park took Fenton's place as a third-team linebacker. Lazenga had been listed as an honorable mention.

Fenton was one of five McDowell players cited by PFN.
