Cathedral Prep wrestlers Jamal Lyons and Nick Milano have the chance to become two-time champions at the Tool City Tournament. The 31st annual event resumes Saturday at 9 a.m. at Meadville High School, with the parade of champions scheduled for 7 p.m.
Lyons and Milano are two of the tournament's five returning champions. If they win, Lyons at 145 and Milano at 171, they would be Prep's first two-time titlists since Brad Fralic stood atop the Tool City podium in 1995 and '96.
Lyons and Milano are the top seeds in their respective divisions, as is Corry's Beau Norton at 160. Norton can become the Beavers' first individual winner since Chris Bailey in 2001.
Corry begins the tournament's second day with 62½ points, good for third place, while Prep is fifth (57½). Boiling Springs, coached by former Edinboro University wrestler Rodney Wright, leads the 16-team field with 75.
