The District 10 Class AA wrestling tournament is under way at Sharon High School. It was announced shortly before the preliminary round matches began that first-round action in the consolation round will be postponed until Saturday at 9 a.m.

Only the first round and quarterfinals of the championship bracket will be completed Friday.

Youngsville's Amanda Reynolds, the first female ever to qualify for the AA meet, was pinned in her first match. Slippery Rock's Ryan Gossett pinned the Eagles junior in 1 minute, 32 seconds of their 103-pound match.
